Miscellaneous

Wow.

Jonathan Xavier Walker was born 2:41pm, 30th October 2008, at a healthy 3.84kg (8lbs 8 ounces for those of you still wallowing in the labyrinthine and archaic grasp of the imperial system!).

It’s been a LONG 60 hours. Krissy went into labour around 2:00am on Thursday morning, and then it was just all systems go from there.

Those of you who are in the loop Facebook-wise, there’ll no doubt be a multitude of photos hitting the pages very very soon!

Nothing further for now….. everyone concerned is absolutely WRECKED and I’ve got an epic amount of work to catch up on….. once things settle down a bit, I’ll have more.

Haiku, anyone?

Occasionally I have a string of stupidly late nights, which coupled with an overabundance of Red Bull can lead to crazy eccentric rantings. Like haiku!

Energetic buzz,
Followed by total downer
WAY too much taurine.

Or how about some iambic octameter (in reverse!)?

Nights like this I wish I had some more good tunes to rock along to.

Limericks are fun too.

There once was a man named Herby,
Who raced in the Kentucky derby.
His horse came last,
He was out on his arse,
But he made a fair bit of cash turning the useless prick into glue.

OK, so not *really* a limerick but I like slamming the door on convention once in a while.
